The heart of FILTR is high-quality filter material from the Finnish company Ahlstrom. The activated carbon binds unwanted substances and helps reduce PFAS and, among other things, bacteria by up to 99%.
How the Filter Works
Before and After Filtration
For this demonstration, we did not use tap water, but water that we deliberately contaminated to show what the FILTR bottle does. What you see is the difference before and after: from visibly contaminated to clear water thanks to the filter. The filter combines activated carbon with positively charged fibers. These attract and trap small particles, with pores of approximately 1.2 microns.
The FILTR bottle reduces PFAS and bacteria while preserving natural minerals. This way, you can drink purer water anywhere—at home, on the go, or wherever you are.
